12" Cylinder Head Level - STARRETT 98-12
The Starrett 98 Machinists' Level with Ground and Graduated Vial includes a cross test vial, 12" size, without case. 12” (300mm) with Ground Single and Cross Test Vials.
The main vials are adjustable for precise calibration and are housed in a satin chrome brass tube, with a friction fit closing cover to prevent breakage. With the cross test vial, it is possible to level simultaneously in both directions to prevent inaccuracies in the main vial reading. The level bases are made of the finest quality seasoned castings, precision machined and finished on the bearing surface. A groove between the bearing flats also provides accurate seating on round surfaces.
