230 Degree Low Temp Heat Tabs
Heat tabs use heat sensitive metal centers that will melt away when engine temperature exceeds the stated melting point of the heat tabs installed. This visual indication provides evidence that a rebuilt engine has been operated at higher than normal operating temperatures. Attach heat tabs to each cylinder head and on both sides of the engine block for complete coverage.
HT1L Heat Tabs are intended for low temperature diesel engine applications and have melting point of 225 - 230 degrees Fahrenheit/107 - 110 degrees Celsius.
Each package contains 100 pieces of Low Temp Heat Tabs and should be used with our exclusive Heat Tab adhesive that ensures proper heat transfer to the heat tabs for accurate melt when overheating occurs.
