Adjustable Tapered Ring Compressor - 4.25 inch cylinder bore
Double Coated Aluminum Ring Compressor has tapered sleeve allowing free and easy installation of rings and pistons. Adjust with a screwdriver. Three sizes available for most domestic & import applications.
Putting the connecting rod through first, simply place the piston (with rings) into the tapered end of the ring compressor. Tighten the compressor snugly around the base of the piston. Then lay the compressor flat on the engine cylinder bore.
